Immortal Mountain Tai Chi (as taught by Joël Schiavone) trains some of the most important life skills available to mankind. Our students learn precise control of mind and body through the exquisite movements in tai chi forms. With careful practice the student achieves an understanding of integrated, or whole body movement, which is the rare, sought-after art, applicable to every aspect of life.

Because of his own dedication, my teacher, Carl Dechiara, was granted the innermost secrets and skills of Tai Chi by the Master Chen Quingzhou. The power of these masters is phenomenal.
I have been studying with the best of the best since 2018. We launched our school in 2025.

At Immortal Mountain Tai Chi, we believe that correct physical alignment, as well as correct postures and movement lead to true insight and progress in people's lives.

Our classes are dynamic, beginning by learning tai chi specific warm-up exercises.
Next we engage in a series of exercises, meant to familiarize the student with various taiji skills. We also include five minutes of standing meditation, building postural and energy awareness.

Finally we practice the taiji forms themselves. We teach the Wu form, the Fu form, the Chen sword form, and finally the (supreme) Yi Lu form.
We are 100 per cent committed to teaching Tai Chi skills, and any student with a strong desire can learn them too.
